How to use it

Thais put ตู้dtûu, "cabinet", in front of the English letters, the same word as in ตู้เย็นdtûu-yen, the fridge. Taking out cash is กดเงินgòt ngoen, "press money".

Thai ATMs charge foreign cards a flat fee of a few hundred baht per withdrawal, on top of what your own bank charges, so take out larger amounts less often.
