How to use it
Bangkok's Chinatown is named after its main street, Yaowarat Road, ถนนเยาวราชtà-nǒn yao-wá-râat. After dark it becomes one of the city's best street-food spots, and at Chinese New Year, ตรุษจีนdtrùt-jiin, it fills with red lanterns. Many Thai families have Chinese roots, and words like ยี่ห้อyîi-hâw, a brand, came into Thai from Chinese.
