ต่อdtàw joins one thing to the next, and it does many jobs: to continue, to haggle, ต่อราคาdtàw raa-kaa, and, here, to connect: ต่อเน็ตdtàw nét, to get online, and ต่อสายdtàw sǎai, to put a call through. At the airport, a connecting flight is ต่อเครื่องdtàw krûeang, "connect the plane". Phones and apps say the formal เชื่อมต่อchûeam-dtàw, "link and join".
