- Low: flat and lower than your normal voice, dropping a little at the end.
- Rising: start low, dip, then rise to the top, like a doubtful “Really?”
How to use it
ขยายkà-yǎai is making something bigger: zooming in on a photo or a map, widening a road, extending a deadline, a business opening a new branch. On your phone the "zoom" gesture is ขยายkà-yǎai, though many people just say ซูมsuum. Extending a visa uses a different word: ต่อวีซ่าdtàw wii-sâa.
