Thai has two words. นานาชาติnaa-naa-châat, "many nations", is for places where people from many countries meet: an international school, airport or programme. ระหว่างประเทศrá-wàang bprà-têet, "between countries", is for what crosses borders: flights, calls, trade and law. Abroad is ต่างประเทศdtàang bprà-têet, and domestic, inside Thailand, is ในประเทศnai bprà-têet.
