How to use it

เบาbao is light in weight, and also soft or gentle: a quiet voice is เสียงเบาsǐang bao, and during a massage เบาๆหน่อยbao-bao nàwy asks for a lighter touch, while แรงๆหน่อยraeng-raeng nàwy asks for more pressure. Light as in bright is สว่างsà-wàang, and a light colour is อ่อนàwn.
