How to use it
วังwang is any palace. Names of royal palaces use the formal พระราชวังprá-râat-chá-wang, and the Grand Palace in Bangkok is พระบรมมหาราชวังprá-baw-rom-má-hǎa-râat-chá-wang. Taxi drivers also know it by the temple inside its walls, วัดพระแก้วwát-prá-gâew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
As at temples, cover your shoulders and knees: no shorts, short skirts or sleeveless tops.
