How to use it

ตั้งdtâng is putting something up so it stands: a tent, a table, a market stall. From there it's setting things: ตั้งปลุกdtâng bplùk, to set an alarm, ตั้งรหัสdtâng rá-hàt, to set a password, and giving a name, ตั้งชื่อdtâng chûue. It's also founding a shop or a company. You'll meet it inside ตั้งใจdtâng-jai, "set the heart", to intend or concentrate, and ตั้งแต่dtâng-dtàe, since.
