Classifier: ตัวdtua · counting word for animals, clothes, tables and chairs
How to use it
Sheep don't like the tropical heat, so in Thailand you mostly meet them at farms made for family day trips. Wool is ขนแกะkǒn gàe, "sheep hair", and a black sheep is แกะดำgàe dam, just as in English.
แกะgàe is also a verb with the same sound: to peel, unwrap or carve, as in แกะกุ้งgàe gûng, to peel prawns.
