กว้าง gwâang
wide, broad; spacious adjective
- gwâang falling
- Falling: start high and drop clearly, like a firm “No!”
How to use it
กว้างgwâang is wide, like a road or a river, and spacious, like a room or a balcony: where English says a big room, Thai often says a wide one. The opposite is แคบkâep, narrow or cramped. With ใจjai, heart, it describes people: ใจกว้างjai-gwâang is generous and open-minded.
