How to use it
Thais call Instagram ไอจีai-jii, the letters IG said the Thai way, far more often than its full name, อินสตาแกรมin-sà-dtaa-graem. มีไอจีไหมmii ai-jii mǎi, are you on IG?, is a common way to swap contacts, along with LINE, the messaging app most Thais use. Posting a photo is ลงรูปlong rûup, "put a picture down", and a story is a สตอรี่sà-dtaw-rîi.
