How to use it
ลาวlaao is Laos, its people and its language. Lao is so close to Thai that speakers of the two can follow each other with a little effort, and it's closer still to the Isan language of northeastern Thailand: see the Isan language. The Friendship Bridge at Nong Khai links the two countries across the Mekong.
