live stream; to go live noun
- lái high
- High: start high and go a little higher, a bit tense; don’t let it fall.
From English 'live'. ขายของในไลฟ์kǎai kǎwng nai lái = to sell things on a live stream.
You'll hear it in Ti Nueng Thi Khu Mueang (ตีหนึ่งที่คูเมือง).
How to use it
ไลฟ์lái, the English "live", is a live stream, and as a verb, to go live. Selling on Facebook and TikTok lives is huge in Thailand: sellers show clothes, food and gadgets on camera, and viewers order by typing in the comments. Careful: ไลก์lái, a like, sounds exactly the same.
