ขยะkà-yà has two short low tones, and throwing something away is ทิ้งtíng: ทิ้งขยะtíng kà-yà. Public bins can be hard to find in Bangkok, so people often carry their rubbish to the nearest 7-Eleven, which usually has one outside. Condos have a rubbish room on each floor or a collection point downstairs.
