ควร kuan
should, ought to verb
- kuan mid
- Mid: level, in your normal speaking voice.
Softer than ต้องdtâwng: it's advice, not a rule, and 'shouldn't' is ไม่ควรmâi kuan.
น่าจะ nâa-jà
probably; should (it would be best to) adverb
- nâa falling
- jà low
- Falling: start high and drop clearly, like a firm “No!”
- Low: flat and lower than your normal voice, dropping a little at the end.
A soft guess (น่าจะดีnâa-jà dii it's probably good) or soft advice (น่าจะลองnâa-jà lawng you should give it a try).
