How to use it
เอาแต่ใจao-dtàe-jai, "taking only your own heart", is someone who always wants their own way: a spoiled child, a demanding partner. Spoiling someone is ตามใจdtaam-jai, "following their heart", as in ตามใจลูกdtaam-jai lûuk, giving a child everything; on its own, ตามใจdtaam-jai means "as you like", or, in the middle of an argument, "suit yourself". Food that has gone off is a different word, เสียsǐa.
