How to use it
Most Thais don't drink น้ำประปาnáam-bprà-bpaa straight from the tap: they buy bottled water, fill up at a coin-operated drinking-water machine or use a filter at home, and use tap water for washing and brushing their teeth. The water bill is ค่าน้ำkâa náam; some rented rooms charge a small flat fee for it instead of reading the meter.
