ย่อม yâwm
naturally, is bound to (formal) adverb written
- yâwm falling
- Falling: start high and drop clearly, like a firm “No!”
How to use it
ย่อมyâwm before a verb says something follows naturally, as anyone would expect. It's common in writing, speeches, laws and sayings.
In conversation Thais use ก็gâw, "then, naturally", or แน่นอนnâe-nawn, of course: ฝนตกหนักรถก็ติดfǒn dtòk nàk rót gâw dtìt, heavy rain, so of course there's traffic.
