How to use it

วันที่wan-tîi, "day number", comes before the number: the 5th is วันที่ห้าwan-tîi hâa. Thai dates run day, month, year, and the year is usually the Buddhist one, 543 years ahead of the Western calendar, so a form dated 1/5/2569 means 1 May 2026.
