Practise it freeHow to use it
Thai has a word for each kind of empty. ว่างwâang is vacant: a free seat, an empty room, and free time. เปล่าbplàao is empty or bare: an empty bottle, empty hands, and น้ำเปล่าnáam-bplàao, plain water. When something has run out, it's หมดmòt, all gone: what a vendor says when the mangoes are sold out, and the word in แบตหมดbàet mòt, a dead battery.
