ชินchin is short and flat, with a mid tone, and it's everywhere in expat life: the heat, the chilli, the traffic. What you're getting used to comes after กับgàp, with: ชินกับอากาศร้อนchin gàp aa-gàat ráwn, used to the hot weather. เดี๋ยวก็ชินdǐaw gâw chin, you'll soon get used to it, is what Thai friends say when you struggle.
