How to use it

In speech Thais join two things with กับgàp (ข้าวกับไข่kâao gàp kài, rice and egg) or simply list them. และláe is the "and" of signs, menus, news and formal speech. To add one more thing in a conversation, you'll hear แล้วก็láew gâw, "and also, and then".
