How to use it

The standard word is สอดรู้สอดเห็นsàwt-rúu-sàwt-hěn, "poking in to know, poking in to see". Among friends and online you'll hear เผือกpùeak, literally "taro": a teasing stand-in for a much ruder word that sounds similar, so it's playful rather than crude. อย่าเผือกyàa pùeak is a jokey "mind your own business".
