How to use it
ต่างๆdtàang-dtàang goes after a noun to mean "various, the different …": ปัญหาต่างๆbpan-hǎa dtàang-dtàang, various problems. You'll meet it constantly in writing and careful speech. Chatting with friends, Thais more often say หลายlǎai (several, many) before the noun, or the noun with เยอะyóe, lots.
On its own, ต่างdtàang means "different", as in ต่างกันdtàang-gan, and "foreign", as in ต่างประเทศdtàang-bprà-têet, abroad.
