How to use it
เป็นต้นbpen-dtôn closes a list of examples, like "etc." or "and so on", and it usually pairs with เช่นchên, "such as", at the start of the list. Writing also uses the sign ฯลฯlá after a list, read aloud as lá or as และอื่นๆláe ùuen-ùuen, "and others".
In conversation Thais trail off with อะไรแบบนี้à-rai bàep níi, "things like that".
