How to use it

รายได้raai-dâi is income or revenue: a person's earnings, a shop's takings, a country's income from tourism. Visa and bank forms ask for รายได้ต่อเดือนraai-dâi dtàw duean, monthly income, and a side job brings รายได้เสริมraai-dâi sǒem, extra income.

A fixed monthly salary is เงินเดือนngoen-duean, and income tax is ภาษีเงินได้paa-sǐi ngoen-dâi, not รายได้raai-dâi.
