How to use it

วิจัยwí-jai is research, and to do research is ทำวิจัยtam wí-jai. A study or a research paper is a งานวิจัยngaan-wí-jai, and a researcher is a นักวิจัยnák-wí-jai. News reports often begin งานวิจัยชี้ว่าngaan-wí-jai chíi wâa, "research points out that".

Surveys and polls use สำรวจsǎm-rùat, to survey: the news often quotes ผลสำรวจpǒn sǎm-rùat, survey results. To look something up for yourself is หาข้อมูลhǎa kâw-muun.
