How to use it
สักวันsàk wan, "some one day", looks ahead to a day nobody can name yet: a hope, a promise, a warning. It goes at the start or the end of the sentence. สักsàk before a counting word means "just one, some": ใครสักคนkrai sàk kon, someone, anyone at all. A day in a story is วันหนึ่งwan nùeng, one day.
