- Falling: start high and drop clearly, like a firm “No!”
How to use it
Thais "play" the market: เล่นหุ้นlên hûn, to trade stocks. The Stock Exchange of Thailand, the SET, is the ตลาดหลักทรัพย์dtà-làat-làk-sáp, and a business partner is a หุ้นส่วนhûn-sùan, "a share part". Stock in a shop is a different thing: when it's run out, the answer is หมดแล้วmòt láew, all gone.
