- วันเวลา wan-wee-laaที่ผ่านมา tîi pàan maaจะ jàเร็ว rewจะ jàช้า cháaไม่ mâiเคย koeiลบเลือน lóp-lueanไป bpai
The days gone by, whether they went fast or slow, have never faded away
The first line. วันเวลาwan-wee-laa = the days, time gone by. ที่ผ่านมาtîi pàan maa = past, that has gone by: ปีที่ผ่านมาbpii tîi pàan maa = the past year. จะ...จะ...jà … jà … = whether … or …: จะเร็วจะช้าjà rew jà cháa = fast or slow, sooner or later; จะไปจะอยู่jà bpai jà yùu = whether you go or stay. ลบเลือนlóp-luean = to fade, to blur and disappear (ลบlóp = to erase), and ไปbpai after it = away. - ฉัน chǎnรู้สึก rúu-sùekว่า wâaยัง yangมี miiฉัน chǎnและ láeเธอ toeเสมอ sà-mǒe
I feel it's still you and me, always
Just before it he sees pictures of the happy days. รู้สึกrúu-sùek = to feel; รู้สึกว่าrúu-sùek wâa + sentence = to feel that…, to have a feeling that… ยังมีyang mii = there still is. ฉันและเธอchǎn láe toe = you and me (และláe = and, the written word); Thai puts 'I' first without any rudeness. เสมอsà-mǒe = always. - เมื่อไหร่ mûea-ràiที่ tîiเธอ toeจะ jàกลับ glàpมา maa
When will you come back?
The question that ends the chorus. เมื่อไหร่mûea-rài = when?; with ที่tîi after it, the question sounds wistful: 'when is it that…'. Everyday Thai puts the question word last: เธอจะกลับมาเมื่อไหร่toe jà glàp maa mûea-rài. กลับมาglàp maa = to come back (กลับglàp = to return; มาmaa = towards me), and กลับไปglàp bpai = to go back. - เธอ toeคง kongไม่ mâiคิดจะ kít jàกลับ glàpมา maa
You probably don't mean to come back
คงkong = probably. คิดจะkít jà + verb = to think of doing, to plan to: คิดจะไปเที่ยวkít jà bpai tîaw = to be thinking of a trip; ไม่คิดจะmâi kít jà = to have no intention of. He holds the last word, มาmaa, for three seconds. The next half-line asks why his heart still worries about her and misses her. - คง kongไม่มีวัน mâi mii wanจะ jàลืม luuemเธอ toe
I'll probably never forget you
ไม่มีวันmâi mii wan = never (will), literally 'there is no day': ไม่มีวันจะลืมmâi mii wan jà luuem = there will never be a day I forget. ลืมluuem = to forget. Just before it he asks when he'll ever be able to erase her from his heart. Then the chorus comes back: she will always be in his heart.

The culture behind it
Musketeers is a band from Chiang Mai: singer Ten (Chakree Lapbunruang), bassist Doi (Sanpawit Wansanit) and guitarist Big (Rawin Mitjitranon), who started playing together in 2004 as students at Chiang Mai University, rehearsing after class. After a best-lyrics prize at a music festival and an honourable mention at Believe Records' audition day in 2007, they signed with Believe, and "ความทรงจำkwaam-song-jam" is on their first album, Left Right and Something, from November 2009, with the hits แค่บางคำkâe baang kam and ของขวัญkǎwng-kwǎn (A Gift). The band wrote both the words and the music.
It has stayed a favourite for years: in October 2026 it had spent 226 weeks on Spotify's weekly chart for Thailand (kworb). This upload is the official audio from Believe Records, which YouTube files under the band's official channel; it shows only the album cover. ความทรงจำkwaam-song-jam (memory) is built from ทรงจำsong-jam, a formal word for remembering, with ความkwaam in front, as ความรักkwaam-rák (love) is built from รักrák.
